Here is a  stunning portfolio of movie poster artwork from the legendary American graphic designer and Academy Award-winning filmmake Saul Bass (May 8th 1920- April 25th 1996).During a forty
year career, Bass produced some of the most iconic motion picture title sequences, film posters and corporate logos (including the Bell System logo 1969) in pop culture history; who could forget the paper cut-out of  a heroin addict’s arm for Otto Preminger’s ‘The Man With The Golden Arm’, or the skyscraper  shots for Hitchcock’s ‘North By Northwest’.Saul Bass has influenced so many – most recently in ‘Mad Men’s’ opening titles.Enjoy!
