Luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter 2013 menswear show was a celebration/union of French craftsmanship and British artisans.Kim Jones, the brand’s menswear designer, showed an eclectic mix of Himalayan mountain-climbers along with the dandiest of tuxedos/eveningwear.It was the look-of-luxe – -out in full force, utilising such luxury fabrics as cashmere and astrakhan trimmed with impossibly- indulgent furs – such as beaver, fox and mink.London milliner Stephen Jones created the cutting-edge slouch knit hats while the Chapman brothers – Jake & Dinos, produced the eye-catching/show-stopping prints, which illuminated the collection/proceedings to spectacular effect.

Mary Blair (October 21, 1911 – July 26 1978) was a leading art & animation artist for the Walt Disney company.Amongst the wonderful archive of concept art she produced for Disney are these gorgeous storyboards for the company’s 1950 production of ‘Cinderella’.Enjoy!

INDESTRUCTIBLE CAPTAIN SCARLET!
This fabulous collection of artwork was used for the end-titles sequence of the Gerry Anderson hit show ‘Captain Scarlet’, which first aired in Britain in September 1967.The paintings were created by the celebrated artist Ron Embleton and depicted Captain Scarlet in all sorts of dire/deadly situations, which of course he always survived, because he was INDESTRUCTIBLE!
